Earthrise Ovens is the brand name for Hokhokken Foods' bakery products. When and where can you see an earthrise? Only if you're orbiting the Moon towards the Earth! Think of it as coming out of the dark side into the light -- the light of better nutrition. And we do believe in that. All Earthrise Ovens products are based on whole grains. We use no artificial ingredients. We use no preservatives. When possible, we use organic ingredients and locally-produced ingredients. We use local eggs and honey, and use organic eggs when available. The sugar we use is organic and unrefined, meaning it has metabolic co-factors built in. In fact, our cookie recipes typically use only about 75% of the sugar used in conventional recipes -- or less. Our products will never contain hydrogenated fats or cottonseed oil. And we offer both vegan and wheat-free products.

Cookies and Bars

• 100cc Cookies: Chocolate-chip cookies. Containing 35% chocolate chips by weight. Includes oat and brown rice flours as well as wheat.
• ORP Cookies: Oatmeal-raisin-peanut-butter cookies. Complete and balanced protein. Includes rolled oats and brown rice flour as well as wheat.
• Scrumption Cookies: Butterscotch-coconut cookies. Named Scrumption for a reason! Also includes brown rice flour as well as wheat.
• Peanut Butter Cookies: Back to basics. Contains brown rice flour as well as wheat.
• Brownies: Another basic. Made with real chocolate.
• Halvanah Cookies: Vegan tahini-honey-almond-date cookies. Contains brown rice and cassava flours as well as wheat.
• Caramba! Cookies: Vegan carob cookies. Contains brown rice, carob and cassava flours as well as wheat.
• Antigua Cookies: Wheat-free currant-spice cookies. Made without gluten- containing ingredients. Contains brown rice, oat, cassava and soy flours.
• Granola Bars: Wheat-free, vegan granola bars, sweetened only with honey. Contains tree nuts.

Other Bakery Products

• Graham Crackers: REAL Graham crackers.
• Quick Breads: Various quick breads depending on what's available. Usually banana, sometimes zucchini and others.
• Pita Bread: Real whole-wheat pitas. Made occasionally.
• Sticky Buns: A real quote from a real customer (well, actually, more than one customer said this): "This is the best sticky bun I've eaten in my life." Made occasionally.
• 100cc Cookie Mix: A two-packet dry mix, with dough mix in one packet, chocolate chips in the other. Makes out 100cc cookies. Only requires « stick butter and one egg.
• Other occasional products include cheesecake, rhubarb roll, and more.
