Tarvos
Condiments
Tarvos is short for tarvos trigaranos, which is an ancient graphic representation from
continental Celtic civilizations in Europe. These representations, about two millenia old, portray
a bull with three herons (or three horns in at least one version), sometimes under the branch of a
tree. The meaning of this is obscure. It's just intriguing, so that's why we use it. "Tarvos", by
the way, is another version of the Latin word taurus. |

Tarvos condiments include some interesting products for your use:
- Tofu marinade: Make tofu not only edible, but tasty! Also great for use with plain
noodles, or with poultry. The marinade is a vegan product. Available in 12 ounce or quart sizes.
- Poultry marinade: Similar to the tofu marinade, but with less fat and with a slight
orange taste. A vegan product. Available in 12 ounce or quart sizes.
- Jerky marinade: This marinade is made with no sugar and almost no fat. Suitable
for beef or venison jerky. Also good for cooking red meats in general. Not a vegan product.
Available in 12 ounce or quart sizes.
- Teriyaki sauce: This is a sauce made for creating a glaze on roasted meats and vegetables. Available in 12 ounce or quart sizes.
- Thai peanut sauce: Our version of peanut sauce. This one is just a little bit warm,
not hot. We're planning to come out with a hot version, though! Also a vegan product.
Available in 12 ounce size.
- Hummos: Plain (traditional recipe), dill, or Greek olive flavors. A vegan product.
Available in 8 ounce, 16 ounce, 32 ounce, or gallon sizes.
